The Vocal Ensemble
One feature of the Sunday Audio Songbook is the mixed vocal ensemble. This is a group of five singers who help to lead your congregation in worship. Every hymn tune has both a female and male voice singing the melody, in their respective octave. This helps the congregation to hear the melody in their range. We also have the alto, tenor and bass parts.
We offer the Sunday Audio Songbook with vocals balanced with the piano and organ or split track with the vocal in one channel and the piano and organ in the other channel.

For all you tech geeks: vocals are recorded using Beyer M500 ribbon microphones with the exception of our bass vocalist - he uses an ElectroVoice RE20. Preamps include ART PRO tube models and Malcom Hill solid state units teamed up with dbx VGA-II compressors and a Bellari optical compressor for the bass vocalist.
